The Swing

Swing

Every single movement, position, feeling, thought and concept in the golf swing has received massive media coverage. As soon as a new player breaks away from the pack, every aspect of his game is analysed to find the new secret.

The golfing population seeks to follow the swing keys and feelings of our new hero. The following lessons will allow you to find the thoughts and feelings of your golf hero…

YOU!

It is often very destructive to attempt to copy the best players in the world. These people are very highly practised and often what works for them will not work for you. It is so hard to model your swing on someone else.

Whom do you copy?

Arnold Palmer´s swing does not look like that of Jack Nicklau´s, which does not look like Tiger Woods. What is important is that Tigers swing suits Tiger. Tigers swing and his body match so well and he could not have one without the other, he knows his swing and how it feels so that is why he can control his shots and shoot low scores.

This is the key. What swing suits you? I will help you find your secret moves so you can control your shots and shoot lower scores.

The Swing Motion

What do you have to do to hit the ball solidly so that it flies up into the air and lands by your target?

The answer to this question is the first feeling that all golfers should start off learning. In the following pages I will teach you the feelings and images that create this shot.

Do not concern yourself with any other thoughts until you have mastered the following swing motion.

Learning the Swing

In the full swing two areas of motion combine to create power:

1. The arm swing
2. The body turn

These are the moving parts of your golf swing. I will show you how each of these two areas should work so that you can build a powerful and repetitive golf swing.

Because there is much for us to work on I want to break it down into manageable units so that you have the simplest possible concept of what you are trying to do. There are four areas for you to build upon.
