The High Shot
Being able to hit a high soft shot can be very useful on hard greens. Hitting the ball higher requires no change in technique but simply a change in your set up to the ball.
Put the ball more forward in your stance and tilt your spine away from the target so that your right shoulder is now closer to the ground. This, in effect, will put more weight on your right foot. When you make your normal golf swing you will have a much shallower angle of attack almost to the point that you strike the ball on the upswing. Be aware that you will lose distance doing this, so you will need more club to hit the ball the same distance.
